Anti-immigration efforts continue
The Greek Police announced that over 17,000 people were detained, and more than 3,000 people arrested for illegal immigration status around Athens since the campaign started in August. As the Syrian situation continues to spiral and refugees flee, and with the usual traffic out of the East trying to enter europe through Greece, Greek authorities have been cracking down on the (generally unpopular) flood of non-Greeks, and trying to find new ways to discourage people from across the Eastern countries to not even try.
